Tech Lock brakes are available on Colson 2 Series Stainless, and 4 Series casters.

2 Series Stainless Steel Tech Lock Brake

Capacity up to 325 pounds each. Constructed of durable, light-weight engineered thermoplastics, this brake is ideally suited for wet or corrosive conditions. The simple toe operation holds heavy loads securely. And, an advanced design brake pad holds a variety of wheel types. With only two moving parts, the brake is virtually maintenance free. Temperature range: -30°F to +250°F. To order on a caster, specify “BRK2”.

4 Series Swivel Tech Lock Brake

Capacity up to 1,250 pounds each. Constructed of durable, light-weight engineered thermoplastics, this brake is ideally suited for wet or corrosive conditions. The simple toe operation holds heavy loads securely.  With an advanced brake pad design, the brake is compatible with a variety of wheel types. The Tech Lock brake provides virtually maintenance free operation with only two moving parts. Temperature range:  -30°F to +250°F. To order the brake with a caster, specify “BRK2”.  This brake is available on most 4 Series casters, except with a Swivel Lock or 4 Series Enforcer models.

4 Series Rigid Tech Lock Brake

Capacity to 1,250 pounds each. Specially engineered for rigid caster models only, the contemporary design features thermoplastic construction to resist rust and corrosion. A grip ridge for the mechanical lock securely fastens the Tech Lock brake to the fork. To order this brake with a caster, specify “BRK2”.
